Direct Entry Programme is for those students who are average in studies, hard worker, sincere and energetic with a positive attitude. Through this programme candidates can join ship within two to three months from the date of registration and with further Sea service, they will be promoted as Able-Bodied Seamen / Engine Fitter, BOSUN etc. They can also be promoted to officer Level with certain service and qualification requirements.
Educational Qualification : Candidate must be passed in High School [10th Pass] / ITI / Diploma Holder.
Age Limit : between 18 Yrs to 35 Yrs.
Medical : Must be physically and mentally fit and Eye sight of both eyes should be 6/6 with No Colour blindness.
Candidate should be hard worker, sincere and energetic with positive attitude
Candidates will do one month complete basic pre sea training courses [INDOS, STCW & STSDSD] and get INDIAN CDC within 45 days.
Phase 1 : Duration 4 Months [In the India pre sea training centre]
Phase 2 : Duration 15 months on board training on Ship in Foreign countries. [45 to 60,000 RS per month]
Phase 3 : Get Watch Keeping and next upgradation as a AB/OILER. [90 to 1.20 lac RS per month]
